Right now, there are 30 million children in the world who are refugees. These children desperately need our help and support. We want to contribute by supporting UNICEF's emergency relief to vulnerable children. We donate a portion of our sales to UNICEF. This means that all our customers, suppliers and partners are indirectly contributing by helping children in need. All contributions are counted and three bags of nut cream a day may be all that is needed to save the life of a malnourished child. We hope we can inspire others to get involved in similar initiatives.
During year 2018 we donated 53 595 bags and until today, we have donated the equivalent of over 208 550 pieces of nut cream, saving the lives of many malnourished children.

We support KARMA coffee and their project “Girls Gotta Run". KARMA COFFEE finances social projects by selling specialty coffee from Ethiopia. From these sales 10% of the revenue goes directly to the organization “Girls Gotta Run”. The organization is helping young girls in Africa through education. It also gives them the possibility to practice running and helps to get them out of poverty. Instead of sending money, we at HARALD PIHL thought it was a good idea to sponsor them for a new outdoor gym for future runners. A sustainable and long-term project to make the world a little better.
Strong companies provide jobs and welfare. HARALD PIHL is contributing 13 million SEK each year to welfare, which equals, for example:
- 8772 medical visits in primary care
- 37 personal assistants
- 93 pre-school seats
- 542 infarction operations
During Christmas 2018 we supported 4Ocean by buying their products. They are doing the incredibly important work in removing trash from the oceans and coastlines. "Made from recycled materials, every bracelet purchased funds the removal of 1 pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines. In less than 2 years, 4ocean has removed 3 419 985 pounds of trash from the ocean and coastlines." (https://4ocean.com/pages/our-story)
