UNS N08800 / N08810 / N08811, W.No. 1.4876 / 1.4958 / 1.4959
INCOLOY® Alloy 800 / 800H / 800HT is a nickel-based alloy series with excellent corrosion and heat resistance and high structural stability at temperatures up to approximately 816°C (1500°F).
The alloy contains nickel, iron and chromium, which provides good resistance to oxidation and carbonization processes as well as high fracture and creep strength at high temperatures.
Alloy 800 series exhibits very good general corrosion resistance in aqueous environments and, thanks to its nickel content, has high resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
Common areas of application INCOLOY® Alloy 800 / 800H / 800HT
- Heat exchangers and furnace equipment
- Components in the petrochemical industry
- Parts in power plants and other high-temperature environments
- Applications where stress rupture and creep are critical factors
Differences between the variants:
- Alloy 800 (UNS N08800): Basic version with balanced properties
- Alloy 800H (UNS N08810): Higher carbon content for improved creep strength
- Alloy 800HT (UNS N08811): Optimized for high fracture and creep strength through controlled amounts of carbon, aluminum and titanium
Recommended filler material for welding is INCONEL® 82 or 617 and welding electrodes in INCONEL® 117 or Inco-Weld® A.
