Alloy 13-8 is a martensitic, precipitation hardening stainless steel that combines high strength, hardness and toughness with good corrosion resistance. Through careful control of the chemical composition, low carbon content and vacuum melting, excellent transverse toughness properties and reliable performance are achieved. Alloy 13-8 is typically supplied in annealed condition (Condition A) and can be heat treated to achieve tailored mechanical properties for various applications.
