Tungsten, also known as Wolfram, is a metal with an extremely high melting point, very high density and excellent resistance to heat and wear.
The material is often used in applications where very high temperatures, high mechanical loads or strong abrasion occur.
Thanks to its high temperature resistance and stability, tungsten is used in the aerospace industry, electronics, energy production and advanced industrial equipment.
Tungsten is a refractory metal with a very high melting point and good strength even at extreme temperatures.
The material also has high density and good electrical conductivity.
Tungsten has one of the highest melting points of all metals and retains its strength at very high temperatures.
This makes the material suitable for applications where other metals would deform or melt.
| Melting point | ~3422 °C |
| Boiling point | ~5555 °C |
| Density | ~19.3 g/cm³ |
| Modulus of elasticity | ~400 GPa |
| Electrical conductivity | ~31 % IACS |
With a global network of suppliers, we can offer tungsten in technical dimensions for demanding industrial applications.
