Alloy 60 is a nickel-copper-based welding material that is primarily used for welding MONEL® alloys such as Alloy 400, R-405 and K-500.

The material is also used for surfacing and cladding steel where good corrosion resistance and mechanical stability are required.

The weld metal obtained when welding with Alloy 60 has properties similar to MONEL® alloy 400 and is therefore often used in marine environments, chemical processes and other corrosive applications.
