Titanium Grade 38, also known as ATI 425 Alloy, is a titanium alloy developed for applications where high strength, good corrosion resistance and low weight are required.
The material combines many of the advantages of commercially pure titanium with improved strength, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
The alloy is widely used in aerospace, chemical process industry, energy and other environments where low weight and high corrosion resistance are important properties.
Titanium Grade 38 is an alpha-beta titanium alloy with good strength and excellent corrosion resistance in many aggressive environments.
The material offers a good balance between strength, formability and weldability.
Titanium Grade 38 offers very good corrosion resistance in many aggressive environments, including marine and chemical process environments.
The material's stable oxide film protects the surface and contributes to long service life even in demanding applications.
