Alloy HX is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum-based filler metal developed for welding high-alloy nickel-based materials in high-temperature environments. The alloy is known for its good oxidation resistance and stable mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.
The weld metal deposited with Alloy HX offers good resistance to oxidation and heat-related degradation, making the material suitable for components operating in high-temperature environments in the energy, process and aerospace industries.
Alloy HX is developed for welding nickel-based heat-resistant alloys where stability at high temperatures and good oxidation resistance are crucial.
The weld metal maintains good mechanical strength and resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures and is therefore often used in components exposed to high heat loads.
