Alloy 800, 800H and 800HT are nickel-iron-chromium alloys developed for applications requiring good corrosion resistance and stability at high temperatures.
The materials are often used in heat treatment equipment, petrochemical processes, power plants and other high-temperature environments.
The alloys combine good oxidation resistance, resistance to carburization and high creep strength.
Alloy 800 Series are austenitic nickel-based alloys with good structural stability at high temperatures.
The nickel content contributes to resistance to stress corrosion cracking while chromium provides good oxidation resistance.
Alloy 800 series offers good resistance to oxidation and carburization in high temperature environments.
The material is often used where both heat resistance and corrosion resistance are important.
