Alloy X is a solid solution hardened nickel-based superalloy developed for high strength and very good oxidation resistance in high temperature environments. The material is widely used in gas turbines, industrial furnaces and heat treatment equipment where long-term thermal stability and mechanical integrity are essential.
Alloy X has an austenitic structure and maintains good mechanical properties over a wide temperature range. The alloy is known for its combination of oxidation resistance, good formability and good weldability compared to many other nickel-based materials.

Alloy X offers good resistance to oxidation and hot gas corrosion at elevated temperatures. The material is particularly suitable for oxidizing atmospheres and is often used where standard stainless materials are not sufficient for high-temperature operation.
