NIMONIC Alloy 75 is a nickel-chromium alloy with approximately 80% nickel and 20% chromium as well as controlled additions of titanium and carbon.
The alloy was developed in the 1940s for turbine blades in the first jet engines and is today mainly used in sheet metal and component applications where good oxidation and scaling resistance is required at high temperatures.
The material is used in gas turbine technology, industrial heat treatment, furnace components and other high-temperature equipment where stable performance and good manufacturability are important properties.
NIMONIC 75 is a solid solution-strengthened nickel-chromium alloy that offers good oxidation resistance and stable mechanical performance at elevated temperatures. temperatures.
The material is relatively easy to form, process and weld compared to many other high-temperature alloys.
NIMONIC 75 offers a lot good resistance to oxidation and scaling in high temperature environments.
The material is often used in atmospheres where high temperatures and oxidative environments occur over long operating times.
